An estate-grown, single-vineyard Shiraz from our vineyard at Longwood in Victoria's Strathbogie Ranges.

Showing purple hues with aromas of plum and blackberry, the 2015 is a rich wine with dark-fruit and subtle confectionary notes, complemented by well-integrated oak and smooth, silky tannins on the finish.

The grapes were hand tended and fermented in open vats using traditional methods, with whole bunches added to the fermentation. The wine was matured in American oak puncheons and puncheons from the Tronçais forest in France.

Like all Garners wines, Leon's Shiraz reflects our family's connection to regional Victoria and our focus on producing Shiraz particularly suited to the cooler reaches of the Strathbogie Ranges.
